The University of Science and Technology (UST), Bannu, and the Women University Mardan (WUM) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to foster cooperation in academics, research, and professional development. The signing ceremony took place  on October 09, 2025 at women university Mardan, where Prof. Dr. Muhammad Jahan Zeb, Vice Chancellor, University of Science and Technology, Bannu, and Prof. Dr. Razia Sultana, Vice Chancellor, Women University Mardan, formally signed the agreement.

Under this MoU, both universities will collaborate on joint academic and research projects, co-supervision of M.Phil. and Ph.D. research theses, and organization of conferences, workshops, and training sessions. The partnership aims to enhance faculty and student exchanges, strengthen research capacity, and promote innovation and entrepreneurship in higher education.
