Another milestone achievement in the history of the University of Science and Technology (UST) Bannu and the Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF) was marked as both organizations signed, for the first time at the national level, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on October 3, 2025. The partnership aims to strengthen cooperation in academic, research, and developmental initiatives. Under the MoU, PSF will extend support for organizing conferences, workshops, training programs, and scientific expos, along with the establishment of a Science Club at UST Bannu. The agreement also covers scholarships, research and developmental projects, upgradation of research laboratories, and faculty support for participation in national and international events. Furthermore, PSF will provide funding for faculty development, skills training, commercialization of patents, and access to digital libraries, databases, technologies, and equipment at both national and international levels. Both institutions reaffirmed their commitment to promoting scientific research, innovation, and capacity building to accelerate socio-economic development in Pakistan
