Agreement between Bannu University and Qarshi Foundation

An agreement has been finalized between Bannu University and Qarshi Foundation. Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Jehanzaib and Qarshi Foundation Lahore’s Chief Executive, Adil Saeed Mir, signed the documents.

Under this agreement, free medical checkups and free medicines will be provided to the employees, students, and thousands of citizens. For this purpose, a formal Co-operation and Establishment Center will be set up.

Yesterday, a special ceremony was held in the Senate Hall of the University of Science and Technology Bannu, presided over by Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Jehanzaib. The chief guest of the event was Qarshi Foundation Lahore’s Chief Executive, Adil Saeed Mir. The ceremony was organized under the supervision of the University’s Director and physician, Dr. Hidayatullah Khan.

Among the distinguished participants were Professor Dr. Sultan Mahmood (Dean of Natural Sciences), Professor Dr. Mushtaq (Dean), Director Administration Hazrat Ameen, and from Qarshi Foundation Lahore, Health Manager Dr. Yasir Ameen and Operations Head Sindh & Balochistan, Dr. Zartaj Bukhari.

During the event, it was explained that Unani Medicine (Tibb-e-Unani) is an ancient traditional system of treatment based on herbs, diet, and natural methods to restore the balance of the human body.

Some key benefits were highlighted:

  • Unani medicines are made from natural herbs and minerals, with minimal side effects.

  • This system treats the root cause of illness rather than just suppressing symptoms.

  • It maintains the balance of bodily humors (phlegm, blood, bile, black bile) to improve overall health.

  • These medicines are generally affordable, and traditional prescriptions are easily available.

  • Unani remedies are considered effective for joint pain, digestive disorders, skin problems, male and female weaknesses, etc.

  • They help strengthen the body’s natural immunity.

  • When taken in the correct dosage and manner, these medicines are generally safe.

At the end of the ceremony, Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Jehanzaib distributed honorary shields among the guests.
