Services Provided by ITRC

The Information Technology Resource Center (ITRC) at the University plays a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the digital infrastructure that supports academic and administrative operations. One of its key responsibilities is managing high-speed internet connectivity across various sectors of the university.

Currently, the university benefits from a total bandwidth capacity of 735 Mbps, distributed strategically as follows: 375 Mbps is allocated to the IECS and IMS Campuses, 160 Mbps is routed through the Pakistan Education & Research Network (PERN), and 200 Mbps is assigned to Administrative Offices. This ensures uninterrupted access to educational resources, research platforms, and administrative systems.

Beyond internet services, ITRC provides a broad range of IT solutions including:

• Email Services – Official university email accounts are provided and managed for faculty, staff, and departments.
• Wi-Fi Network – Secure wireless internet access is made available across academic blocks, admin buildings, hostels, and public areas.
• Online Degree Status Check – A system enabling students to verify the processing status of their degree online in real-time.
• Network Expansion and Maintenance – Continuous upgrades and expansion of the network to meet the growing needs of users.
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting – Regular support for hardware/software issues and proactive monitoring of network stability.
• Website Development and Hosting – Design, development, and hosting of the university’s official website and its departmental sub-sites.
• Online Admission System – A comprehensive web-based platform for students to apply and track admissions.
• Student Portal – A centralized portal for students to access academic records, notifications, and online services.
