The University of Science & Technology Bannu has issued an important notification regarding the working schedule.

According to the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Higher Education, Archives & Libraries Department, Peshawar Notification No. SOG/HED/1-2/Gen/2025-26 dated 10-03-2026, it is informed for all concerned that:

• The University shall remain closed on every Friday and Saturday with immediate effect.

• This arrangement will remain in force for two months or until further instructions are issued, whichever comes earlier.

All Teaching Faculties, Departments, and Institutes are requested to adopt hybrid or online modes of instruction during the remaining working days where feasible, in order to mitigate the impact of the ongoing fuel crisis affecting fuel supply and prices in the region.

The schedule of examinations, tests, and interviews will remain unchanged if already announced.

However, Security and Gardeners staff shall remain on duty according to their routine roster.

This notification has been issued with the approval of the Vice Chancellor.
