Description

Bannu University Research Journal of Education (BURJE) is a biannual publication of Institute of Education and Research, University of Science and Technology Bannu, published since June 2017. BURJE is an open access peer-reviewed research journal. Views expressed in the journal are those of authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of the Bannu University Research Journal of Education.


 

Aims

Bannu University Research Journal of Education (BURJE) aims to enhance research, theory, practice, and quality of education through the publication of papers. It provides a platform for the researchers, academicians, professionals, educators, practitioners and students to impart and share their knowledge in the form of high quality research papers.


 

Scope

Bannu University Journal of Education (BURJE) allows varied approaches to offer empirical research, theoretical and conceptual analyses, and reviews (both qualitative and quantitative syntheses). It welcomes contributions in the following areas of education- learning, pedagogy, andragogy, curriculum, training, educational psychology, educational leadership, educational management, supervision and administration, basic education, childhood and adult education, special education, formal and informal education, virtual and distance education, comparative education, measurement and evaluation in education etc.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS

Manuscript Structure Guidelines

Ø  Margins: One inch on all sides except left side with 1.5 inches.

Ø  Font Size and Type: 12-pt. Times New Roman.

Ø  Line Spacing: 1.5-space.

Ø  Alignment: Left justified

Ø  Paragraph Indentation: 0.5”

Ø  Pagination: Bottom Right Corner

Ø  Referencing: Follow APA 6th style.

Ø  Footnotes: are not allowed.

Ø  Graphics: Number the tables, graphs and figures with Arabic numerals.

 

Manuscript Submission Guidelines

Ø  Manuscripts should be between 10 and 15 pages in length or up to 5,000 words and must confirm to the style of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA 6th edition).

Ø  The name(s), affiliation(s), and phone, fax, e-mail addresses), permanent and postal address and a brief biography of the author(s) should appear on the cover page.

Ø  An Abstract of 150 to 250 words and 3-5 Keywords should be submitted.

Ø  Incomplete and more than 19% plagiarized articles will not be entertained.

Ø  The research papers are accepted for publication on the understanding that they have not been published earlier and are not being considered for publication elsewhere.

Ø  Research papers/articles should be an original piece of work.

Ø  After approval, the article will be edited thoroughly. If conditionally approved, the authors will be required to revise within a stipulated time.
