HEC Needs Based Scholarship Program; FY 2018 -19




  • Scholarship is based on assessment of need and merit as well as availability of funds. Selection will be made on the basis of information provided in the form and personal investigations for the authentication of provided information. Applicants may be required to appear for interview/s as per schedule announced.
  • Application form is available on the HEC website and can be downloaded for the purpose.

Important to note: That a student can avail only one scholarship at a time, except sibling concession, only if the student is not availing a full scholarship.



Eligibility Criteria:  BS Students facing financial difficulties in Paying fees are eligible to apply for this scholarship.


Attention: Providing false information may result in one or all of the following:

  • Cancellation of admission.
  • Rustication from the university.
  • Initiation of criminal proceedings.
  • Disqualification for award of any future loan/scholarship.
  • Refund of all the payment received and or a penalty equal to total scholarship amount.


DO ’s:

  • Submit duly completed application forms along with required documents in the office of your respective Departments.

(Incomplete Applications or received after the due date Will Not Be Processed)

  • Properly annex required documents as per check list in right order.
  • Consult with you parents/guardians for the accuracy & reliability of financial data required in the application form.
  • No column in the application form be left blank, write “N.A” in case it is irrelevant or you have no information.


  • Provide False/vague/ incomplete information in.
  • Overwrite/ scratch on the form.
  • Send scholarship application form directly to HEC.


Instructions while Filling in the Scholarship Application Form:


  • A student can avail only one scholarship at a time, except sibling concession, only if the student is not availing a full scholarship.
    • Make a photocopy of the application form.
    • Read out the application form carefully and thoroughly.
    • Fill in the photocopied form as a DRAFT and make sure that all entries made therein are correct and final.
    • After confirmation of the DRAFT, fill in the original form carefully using black ball point pen and write all entries in CAPITAL letters.
    • Submit duly completed application form in the office of your respective Department on or before the due date.
    • Furnish factual, comprehensive and authentic information in the form.
    • Consult your parents/guardians for guidance while reporting your family’s financial status.
    • Ensure that you have attached all the required documents in order by putting a tick mark (   ) in the checklist given at the end of form.
    • Answer all the questions given in the application form. Do not left any column as BLANK. Write “N.A” (Not Applicable) in case it is irrelevant or you do not have relevant information.
    • An affidavit on judicial stamp paper duly attested by the Notary Public will be required by the applicant after final selection.
